Yesterday, on my way home from work, I stopped at Wally World & purchased myself a new coffee pot.

I thought it was just like the one that lightning destroyed, but it's smaller (10-cup) & made SO much cheaper. I loved my other one, but just like everything else, the prices are going up while the content/quality is going down. But, I did enjoy a fresh pot of coffee this morning when I got up! It was wonderful to know it was there waiting on me to rise-n-shine to start the percolating. mmmmmmmm Can you smell it now? Scott likes his a LOT stronger than I do, so he made his TAR in his own pot. *snicker*

On another note, I've got myself a somewhat"free" week here. All of the kiddos are gone with dad for the week until Sunday evening. I'll be off (office closed) Thursday & Friday, so that's a 4-day weekend! Yeppers, that's a TWO thumbs up!

Last night, I came in, took an early-hot-undisturbed shower, planted my sorry butt on the couch in front of the TV - & ate a peanut butter & jelly sammich for dinner. I went to bed early & loved the peace & quiet.

I already miss my kiddos - especially the older 2 since they've been gone for 2 weeks already with the church trip. Lulu just left last night. I've got to learn to enjoy my free time more & not feel guilty about it. I do deserve it!
