My Soap Opera Life

 (no title)

Well streamers, my brain isn't working very well right now, so I'm at a loss as to what to post. If you have read Randy's blog, then you know that we're no longer together. I'm having a very hard time with this.

I can't talk about my feelings without hurting others. I can't talk about the relationship without hurting others. I can't talk about the break-up without hurting others. So, I have to deal with all of this internally - NOT a good idea, but all I have right now. Maybe some day I'll deal with this better. I sure hope so....

Anyway, I hope you all are well & hopefully I'll have something intesting to post soon.

Take care!

 Fun Festival

The Fall Festival at Lulu's school was fun last night. She looked so adorable dressed as Barbie of Swan Lake - including the official blonde wig with curls! All the kids looked so cute & had a great time.

My job? They put me face painting. I've never painted faces before! Mostly I did pumpkins, hearts, butterflies, flowers, "I love ___", & Alabama "A"s. It's not easy to paint on a face that won't be still! Ever try to paint a picture on a roller coaster while it's moving?? It was interesting, but next time I think I might try working the Cake Walk or sumpin else.

 Fall Festival(s)

Tonight is the Fall Festival at the elementary school. My Lulu is dressing up as a Barbie character including blonde wig & ballerina shoes! She's gonna look so adorable!! It starts at 4:30, but my bossman is letting me off work today at 3:00 so I can get there on time. Her teacher asked me to work 6:30-7:30 tonight, so I guess Lulu will be helping me. Hopefully, she'll get her 'fill' of the activities before that time & won't mind.

Sunday, our church down the road is having their festival. It always starts at 5:00 & includes hay rides, activities, & dinner is served (pot luck). Those people can really cook too! We've enjoyed going there every year & the kids all have fun.

Halloween isn't like it was when I was little. We'd run out the door all dressed up & go house to house for many block in the neighborhood. Now you can't do that. It's too dangerous out there for our children. With my living in the country (sort-of), I don't really have neighbors other than 2 that I know. It's sad for our children.

What are you doing for this holiday? Anything?

Anywho, hope you all have a great day!

The sun has set
The brightness faded
A love that once was
Now it is jaded

The darkness has set in
The chill will embrace
A romance no more
Nothing can take its place

The tears just keep falling
Like water in a stream
To have a love like that again
Will only be a dream

So now the night takes over
The smile will lose its glow
As he walks out the door
And away where he must go

Happiness I wish for him
Peace inside his mind
So he can live his life out
And hold his head up high

 Playoffs

Round 1 of the midget football playoffs began last night at 5:00. Lulu had to ride home from school & to the game with another cheerleader so she could make it on time. Mandatory - if you don't show, you can't try out next year. Can't have that!

Anyway, I take care of the music for our half-time presentation. I leave work at 4 & haul arse to get to the field (thru 'BFE' in the middle of the next county!). Now, C-team games don't last long as they're only "helmets with legs" running around. I get there & there's only 3 minutes left until half-time! Wow, that was close! I had to go straight to the press box & be ready to play our cd. *whew*

We won 12-0. Yeah!! So now we're off to Round 2. Luckily, it's Saturday noon & not on a school night.

Our sponsor this year will be moving up to B-team. She wants ME to sponsor next year as I've helped so much this year. I was a cheerleader myself in 2nd - 4th grades. Now, let's just see what I remember! Can I still do a cartwheel? Hell yes I can!! Of course, you might have to pick me up & put me in traction, but I CAN still do one.

My older daughter was inducted into the Jr Beta Club this morning. She's proud & so am I.

I guess that's all for now. Maybe something exciting will happen that I can share with you all.

Have a great day!!
