Have you ever seen this commercial?

I'm sure you have since they show it all the time. Anyhow, I bought one last week & IT ACTUALLY DOES WORK - just like they say!! Talk about saving a fortune on pedicures!

The original PedEgg™ is the revolutionary foot file that you’ve seen nationally advertised on TV. It's the newest and fastest way to make your feet feel smooth and healthy with NO MESS! The secret is PedEgg™'s precision micro-files that gently remove calluses and dead skin to give your feet the incredible baby soft look and feel that everybody loves. Two high quality emery buffing pads are included for the ultimate finishing touch. The unique “egg” shape of the PedEgg™ not only looks great, but is ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into the palm of your hand for easy and convenient use. Best of all, PedEgg™ has been designed to collect all the skin shavings in a convenient storage compartment allowing you to use it anywhere with no mess. You and your feet will love the new PedEgg™!

Ok, so here is Ped Egg some more advertising (unless they find this & would like to send me a check!) , but I wanted to share it with you all in case you've thougth about it. IT WORKS!

 Lulu at her game

Lulu had a softball game last night & I finally took my camera from work so I could get a few pics of her playing. On the first couple, I hit the 'video' button instead of the 'pic' button, so I can't show you those. This is her warming up just before she hit the ball & ran to first base:

I tried to show one of her at short-stop position, but it won't upload for some reason.

Our season is almost over as we have games Thurs, Fri, & next Tues - then the season is over.

I received a call from her coach last night about her being on the All-Star team. I didn't think she could because she will be out of town (beach with her dad) the first week in June. They're not allowed to miss practices for All-Stars & she will. Her coach really wants her & thinks she might can still play. Those games start the day after she returns from the beach.

Also, Tay's coach & another dad/coach are wanting to get the All-Star team & play this summer in some tournaments at various places.

I'm not sure how this will work. I'll have Tay's tournaments on Tues & Thurs nights. I'll probably have cheer practice on Mon & Fri evenings (to work around Tay's games). So when do/can I fit in Lulu's games???

I thot all I'd have to do was cheer starting June. Now I have no idea what I'll be doing!

 Mother's Day was wonderful!

I had the best Mother's Day....

Saturday evening Lulu's 'father' was supposed to bring her home, but he told her to call & have me come get her. @%&*x%$*@! So I did. Evidently, since he didn't get her his whole weekend, so he wasn't bringing her home. Last time was because she didn't get off the bus at his house... It's always something with him.

Anyway, she & I made a trip to Wally World to get a few things & came back home. We sat & ate our dinner while watching "27 Dresses". That was such an adorable movie! She knew I'd been wanting to see it. Last weekend while at the beach with her aunt, she picked out & purchased (with her own $) this movie for me for my Mother's Day gift. We both loved watching it & had the best time with just us two girls.

B & T had wanted to go to Sunday school so they didn't come home until after that. Lulu took it upon herself to make me breakfast. She fixed scrambled eggs & toast - all by herself with no help or supervision (that she knew about) from me. She had the biggest smile on her face when she brought me a plate. I got the best hug & kiss from her - with a smile to melt your heart. Well, it did mine.

I was in the bathroom getting my face ready for us to go see my mother & take her to lunch. Tay came back in & said "Mom, I need you. There's something in the yard by the porch & I have no idea what it is!" I'm thinking snake or something. So out we go. My clue was when we got to the end of the carport, she decides to cover my eyes & guide me. B & T are taking me to the porch.

There sits my Mother's Day gift from them. It was a set of square dishes that I've been wanting. I was looking at them about 2 months ago & told them that could be my Christmas present this year. Wow! They actually remembered!! Well, Tay did. I got them many months early! I was all excited too. Tay & I washed them, I cleared a space for them & now they're in the cabinet. They're great!

We left to go get my mother. I had bought her a new outfit & flowers. She was just getting dressed, so I had her UNdress & put on her new outfit. It looked great! She's lost weight & everything is too big for her now, so I decided that would be a great gift for her. She loved it, & the other ladies in her home told her "not to go catching any men while she's gone". Um...why not? After we all pigged out, the kiddos & I ended up shopping. I came home with B & Lulu a new pair of tennis shoes, some shorts for all 3, & then on to Academy Sports (Tay LOVES this store) for some more. Even tho I was broke by the time we got home, we still had a wonderful time.

So, spending the day with my children & mother made this a great Mother's Day!

Hope all you mothers out that had a special day also.

 Will still be going strong!

Well, it looks like softball is NOT almost over except for with Lulu who ends the end of this month. It seems that their coach is going to let the team stay together this summer (sans the 2 graduating seniors) & play some more. The girls are happy about it. They'll only play on Tuesdays & Thursdays at our local softball complex so that'll be good. No traveling to far away fields & only 2 games a week. There was mention of some tournament at the beach, but we'll see. Fun? He's also going to take them to an Atlanta Braves game, etc. They'll have a great time.

He's having softball, basketball & volleyball tryouts (for next year) in 2 weeks! His wife is the volleyball coach. They usually do that after school starts closer to each season, but since they have mandatory workouts & drills during the summer, they want to make sure that the ones who will be on the teams will know to attend these. I told my niece cuz she wants to play both softball & basketball this year. Hopefully she'll make it.

Since they'll have Tues & Thurs games, I'll have to try to arrange my cheer practices for Mondays & Fridays. Then I won't have to miss games for practices. Since I'm the coach/sponsor, I'll HAVE to be with my cheer squad.

Hope you're all having a wonderful Thursday. Tomorrow is FRIDAY! OH YEAH!

 A Mother's day funny!

When I'm an old lady, I'll live with each kid,
And bring so much happiness...just as they did.
I want to pay back all the joy they've provided.
Returning each deed! Oh, they'll be so excited!
(When I'm an old lady and live with my kids)

I'll write on the wall with reds, whites and blues,
And I'll bounce on the furniture...wearing my shoe s.
I'll drink from the carton and then leave it out.
I'll stuff all the toilets and oh, how they'll shout!
(When I'm an old lady and live with my kids)

When they're on the phone and just out of reach,
I'll get into things like sugar and bleach.
Oh, they'll snap their fingers and then shake their head,
(When I'm an old lady and live with my kids)

When they cook dinner and call me to eat,
I'll not eat my green beans or salad or meat,
I'll gag on my okra, spill milk on the table,
And when they get angry...I'll run...if I'm able!
(When I'm an old lady and live with my kids)

I'll sit close to the TV, through the channels I'll click,
I'll cross both eyes just to see if they stick.
I'll take off my socks and throw one away,
And play in the mud 'til the end of the day!
(When I'm an old lady and live with my kids)

And later in bed, I'll lay back and sigh,
I'll thank God in prayer and then close my eyes.
My kids will look down with a smile slowly creeping,
And say with a groan, "She's so sweet when she's sleeping!"

God Bless All Moms and Grandmas everywhere!
