I've been so busy with softball games & such that I have been unable to get Lulu to her cheer-nastics classes since early May. I went by & had her listed as "inactive" last week & told the owner/teacher that we will still make up her 3 missed visits.
Yesterday after work, we went in for a make-up class. She hasn't been since early May so I figured she wouldn't be up to par. She amazed me (& some older ones there) with her jumps & such. When it was time for her to practice her back handspring, I thought she'd have a problem. You know, no practice lately. Nope. She did great! Then she tried her power-round-off-back-handspring & it went without a glitch! I was so proud of her. She was happy too.
She has cheer camp the last week of the month. I wish she could show them what she's learned, but her teacher won't allow them to perform these until they've done them successfully 100 times without her spotting them. Lulu still has a spot - not helping, but still there just in case. So...

B & Tay will be home Friday evening from their week at church camp. I miss them so much!
Tay has softball practice at 6 Friday, so she won't have much time at home before I have to take her there. They need the practice though.
Saturday will be another all-day tournament. This time it's only about 30 minutes away from home. Not so bad.
I received a call last night from Lulu's softball coach. The board may do something special for her team since they won 1st place in the 8 & under tournament. I hope so. It might be a cookout & a t-shirt. Hopefully it'll be Sunday afternoon instead of Saturday. Otherwise, we'll have to leave during some of Tay's games to attend that. Of course, we'll return.
So...there you have it. These are the days of my life....
Hope you're all having a great week!!
